Lachlan health Services Redevelopment – Parkes

This project sees work undertaken at two sites, Parkes Hospital and Forbes Hospital.

Parkes is planned as being built on a new site (Newell Highway) and will include an ED, IPU Ward and birthing suites, ambulatory care, MIU, operating suites and day surgery rooms. Forbes Hospital is a refurbishment project including the retention of heritage areas, construction of new structure to provide new ER, larger MIU area, IPU ward, birthing suites and additional renal dialysis capacity.

MBM have been appointed as Cost Manager up to Schematic Design for this project, undertaking cost estimation and advice during the master planning, feasibility and schematic design phases. MBM provided cost management services up to SSD, including looking at several different planning options.
